Acrylic Tape. When Bonding Replaces Screwing and Welding
Logo-Bond acrylic tape is not an ordinary adhesive tape, it is a structural bonding system. Developed for applications where screws, rivets, welding or clips seemed to be the only option, Logo-Bond provides a clean, permanent and highly transparent alternative.
The closed acrylic core enables uniform force distribution across the entire bond area. The result: joints that withstand static, thermal, dynamic and chemical demands, even under extreme heat, heavy precipitation or UV exposure.
Logo-Flex manufactures and converts Logo-Bond in-house and delivers as roll (from 6 mm width), die-cut part or blank, fast and reliably throughout Germany and the entire DACH region.
Why Acrylic Tape instead of Mechanical Fasteners?
Uniform Area Adhesion
Screws and rivets create point loads, stress peaks that can damage materials over time. Logo-Bond acrylic tape distributes the bonding force uniformly across the entire bond area. This reduces material stress and extends the service life of the joint.
Highly Transparent. Invisible on Visible Surfaces
Logo-Bond is optically clear and becomes virtually invisible on glass, acrylic, displays and sight glasses. No drill holes, no screw heads, no adhesive residue edges, clean bonds that let the material take centre stage.
Weather and UV Resistant
The pure acrylic adhesive does not age under UV exposure and does not yellow. This makes Logo-Bond suitable for outdoor applications that must hold for years without retreatment, façade lettering, exterior signage, vehicle cladding.
Residue-Free Removable
When used correctly, Logo-Bond can be removed cleanly and without residue. This is particularly relevant for rental signage, display assemblies or temporary fixings on high-value surfaces.

Applications
Metal Fabrication & Signage
Aluminium composite panels, stainless steel signs and company nameplates are mounted permanently and without screws using Logo-Bond. The high shear strength of the acrylic adhesive holds even large-format signs on façades and buildings securely in position, without drill holes in the wall.
Glass Industry & Display Construction
Anyone who needs to bond glass to glass, glass to metal or acrylic visibly benefits from the transparency of Logo-Bond. No visible fastening points, no cloudy adhesive residue, only the clean connection of the materials.
Vehicle & Shipbuilding
In vehicle and shipbuilding, acrylic tapes are increasingly replacing welds and rivets for fitting interior panels, spoilers, trim strips and floor coverings. The long-term resistance to vibration, moisture and temperature cycling makes Logo-Bond a reliable alternative.
Electronics Industry
For module bonding, shielding assembly and fixation of electronic components, the transparent acrylic tape provides a clean, EMC-neutral connection without metallic auxiliaries.
Custom Converting
Logo-Bond is delivered from 6 mm width on your preferred core. Die-cut parts to drawing, sheet blanks for manual processing and kiss-cut on roll for automated application are available. For high-throughput processes we recommend the Logo-Bond Plus variant with edge passivation, clean-cut edges prevent blocking and blade contamination.
Our delivery network covers the entire DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and all of Europe. For urgent orders we draw on our own converting facility, short response times, direct contact with production.
FAQ
What is the difference between acrylic tape and ordinary double-sided tape?
Conventional tapes often use natural rubber or hotmelt adhesives that are UV-sensitive and lose performance under sustained thermal load. Logo-Bond acrylic tape uses a closed pure-acrylic core that remains stable for decades, without yellowing, without creep under sustained load, without UV degradation. This makes it suitable for structural and weather-exposed applications where standard tapes would fail.
How long does Logo-Bond take to reach full strength?
Initial tack is high immediately after application. Full bond strength develops after 24–72 hours as the acrylic adhesive cures to the substrate surface. For structural applications, apply light clamping pressure for 30–60 minutes after bonding.
Can Logo-Bond bond plastics such as PE or PP?
Pure PE and PP have very low surface energy, which presents challenges even for acrylic tapes. For these substrates we recommend surface pre-treatment (corona treatment, primer) or the use of our solvent-acrylic variants from the nonwoven tape range. Contact us, we will find the right solution for your substrate.
Application Examples
Construction & façade: Invisible, weather-resistant mounting of profiles and façade elements.
Electronics & PCBs: Heat-resistant fixation of electronic components.
Graphics & signage: Permanent attachment of heavy signs or displays.
Mechanical engineering: Vibration-damping and sealing bonds replacing mechanical fasteners.
